Slow to post on forum

Is anyone having problems with it taking ages (or not at all) to post on the forum? It's taking me minutes, sometimes many or not at all, to post here. Our internet is good enough, loading websites etc, but whether I'm on my home pc or on my work one at work, the WSCC forum just laughs mockingly at me.

It’s not slow for me but for the past few days, I am constantly logged out and have to sign in again on my iPad, and computer.

Had you posted this a month or so back, I would have said yes. The whole forum was running slow for me, the emoticons page would not load at all and even pages took a good minute to load.

 

However normality has returned and it runs fine now.

Amazing when you think this message has to be transmitted from my PC to a router then by cable through  how many relay stations to the server then back to home . all in the blink of an eye

From my place that's 7 "public" hops. I have one internal hop (PC to router) and I'm beting at the WSCC data centre there is likely to be a hop or two. RTT (Round Trip Time) was a rock solid 9 milliseconds which is quite a lot less than the blink of an eye

I'm still having posting issues. Also, when I try to embed a youtube clip, it will not show the visual, only paste the link address - I get this error message...

The link could not be embedded because of an unexpected error: Forbidden: "Something went wrong. Please try again.".

 

It doesn't matter what device, which browser, or what location - it just doesn't like me!
