I was there yesterday had a great day, got to be the best car event ever from old to the unveiling of the new all electric super cars, 

Daniel Riccardo was there got within a few feet of him before he went out in the McLaren 

 

nearly put a deposit on the new Jag but struggled to find the deposit

I too managed to go on Friday, went with an old friend (I was actually his apprentice when in the workshop) who has never been before, and he said how the hell have I missed this for all these yrs!

 

I keep meaning to camp there as I always feel I have missed something trying to do it in a day.

I started again with the vid, if you wind it back you get to see bits of yesterday as well 😂, there must be something going on today because mobs of kids are up and down the street shouting, plus next doors kids also appear to be having a beer fest from the amount that was going in the house 🍻.

I went on Thursday and Friday, and had a brilliant time.  It was so good to back at Goodwood again.

Thanks Geoff and it answered a question I had on the vid footage, I thought I saw just the front splitter of a Shell sponsored V8 supercar, but they just showed a bit of it during an interview - your pics confirmed my thoughts... 👍. Do you know what the sculpture represented in front of the house?, I never got to find out.

Football related maybe.....I think I'm the only one on our road not watching it, and judging by the screaming 2 mins ago I take England scored??

I learned later that you were supposed to use an app on your mobile to see virtual cars - presumably Lotus, as they sponsored it.  But to me it wasn't much better than the scaffolding we have round our house at the moment!

 

Never mind, the rest of the event was great.

LOL, I thought it was scaffolding at first, until I saw it had shape...

I briefly stood looking at it and wondering what is it, I must pay more attention??.....normally there is something attached to the sculpture

Yeah normally cars upside down and the like, or covered in a marques car if it was a anniversary year.
