Gary Taylor Posted July 29, 2021 Author Posted July 29, 2021 Just had a chat with a chap who has an aero race westy, he will be joining us at the show. Now this westy is for partially sighted motorsport !! Fitted with dual everything so that a fully sighted “passenger” can coach / guide the partially sighted driver and take control in an emergency . something a little different so come along have a look and chat with Alex. 2 Quote

Gary Taylor Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 Only a wee bit rain here n there on the way south so decided to take some of my favourite wee roads. Got to Dalwhinnie with out the dreaded A9 then hopped onto it over Drumochter then right and out over Trinafour moor to Killin and onto Stirling. Took a wee detour up to Ben Lawers dam 😃 I got a quad lock bike mount and modded it a little bit to give me a dash mount for the phone so tried a few things with video . A few limitations when it rains as it tries to focus on the rain drops on the screen. And I got the vibration damper so will see if that helps things. Anyway I hope there’s enough for you to enjoy. Oh I found a cake stop too 😃 2 Quote

Gary Taylor Posted August 8, 2021 Author Posted August 8, 2021 Hi Phil, sorry I missed you I went for a wander a couple of times. Alex's twin steering westy unfortunately was in its trailer so apolagies for the dark pics but you’ll get some idea of it, it’s quite ingenious and interesting how it comes together and works and a few pictures of my wanderings. And a wee clip of dodging showers early this morning. Quote
Gary Taylor Posted August 8, 2021 Author Posted August 8, 2021 And thanks to Colin for sending me this one Quote
