It has and a Aluminum plate there at the moment but transfers to much heat on long journeys (see attached picture). I want to put carbon fibre sheet there as a shield. I bought my tools and material from Easy composites. Something like this in 1mm will be fine- sheet Use PPE to avoid breathing in dust from cutting/sanding it. This tape will stick it on- VHB Tape I've used it for roll bar feet covers and also for an exhaust plate like you wish to make. If you cut a very fine slot in it with a hacksaw, you can carefully open up the shape to pass it round things to avoid removing them etc. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
