turnip&chips Posted May 15, 2021 Share Posted May 15, 2021 For Sale a 1998 Westfield SEIW with redtop Vauxhall double over head cam engine, 8215 Miles, I’m the 5th owner. **********NOW SOLD*********** Purchased off a forum member August last year and only selling due to a dream car coming available (Non Westfield), been a bit of a project during my ownership to get it how I wanted it, I have lowered the drivers side floor (Very cozy inside now as someone 6ft 2), changed from swept wings to cycle wings, brand new wheels (Tyres new last year), I even had some custom Westfield centre caps made up, battery, smaller headlights, new front grill, painted the nose cone black along with the windscreen surround, new carbon fibre stone guards, new gear lever extender and quick shifter so changes gear like a dream now, new fuel sender unit, new battery, new wing mirrors. Still a few little appearance things to do to finish it off (De-chrome the front suspension for example) so if the other car falls through I will keep it, I have literally done about 200 miles in it. The previous owner in his 3 years ownership fitted bike carbs (Runs great), new rear springs, new starter, new clutch plate and thrust bearing, carbon dash, ETB Digi dash, new sensors (Oil temp and pressure, water and fuel (baffled dip type)), replacement modern shaped doors, as part of the engine out process the cam belt, water pump and idler were changed. Mileage currently showing 713 on the digital dash plus 7502 on the old odometer backed up by the old MOT’s. MOT until Oct 21 Engine/Gearbox/Diff Vauxhall Red top, dyno showing 192 bhp on Weber Carb’s (pulls better now on bike carbs). Body/Interior Fully upholstered interior with black carpet RAC roll bar Westfield sports seats with green piping Heater Willans harnesses Carbon dash ETB programmable Digi-dash 2 Momo 300mm leather steering wheel on QR hub. Lockable carbon fibre “boot” Wet weather equipment Later style side screens/doors. Half roof, but missing a rear strap.
