Richard (OldStager) Posted May 3, 2021 Share Posted May 3, 2021 you could not get a subject further from cars i dont think but i was watching some science docs last night and one of them stuck me as something i can do to help. donating your body to train medical students or use for other educational purposes. i have followed science all my life, and would like to help teach it in my death. would anyone consider doing this, if not why not. i have requested the necessary forms to fill in already. But that doesn't mean that what happens next isn't important. It can be, very much so. The whole process from funerals to what happens to the remains, isn't really about you anymore, it's about those you leave behind; it's a critical part of the process of allowing them to grieve and move past it. So whatever you choose may help or hinder your loved ones in the future. I do believe it's so important to consider how choices will affect them to, and to make sure they're "on board" with any less regular alternatives, you have in mind. Sometimes a compromise may be needed.
