Have you considered this approach? I wouldn't mind having a go, but haven't got any off cuts to use, what metals did you use and where did you buy it from? I can't give you specifics unfortunately as I did the straps about 5+ years ago now but 'I think' I bought 2 strips of 1.5mm x 45mm x 750mm Aluminium off Ebay for £6. Then measured what lengths the sections needed to be and where the bends were needed and then folded them as required in a vice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
