Oh wow really close to the finish line now. Flew through the test today and my man turned up with some strips for me to try. Love it love it love it.

@Lee Bennett, nice! Where did you get the bonnet scoop and how did you go about fitting it?

I bought the scoop off ebay a subaru one I think then we had to cut the bonnet out and fibre glass it in. It was a bit of a task but happy with the result.

Does it have / need any bracing? Assume it's more than just the fibre glass join holding it in place?

No it's just fibreglass the base has extended wings so you cut the hole then put the scoop in from the underside. Then we just stuck the two pieces together with a fibreglass paste.

This was then covered with fibreglass sheets and gelled in.
