adhawkins
What game is it you can't play then? Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed? A bit of research seems to show that XP already has OpenGL. I don't remember ever installing it on my machine (running XP), and haven't found a game that doesn't work yet. BobM
aye, #### prebuilt thingy. Wanted to build my own for less but lack of time I usually build my own but these days if you find the right deal you can buy a package for quite a bit less than the cost of the bits IIRC last one I bought was P4 1800Mhz, 256Mb, 40Gb, DVD, CDR, GeForce 2, WinXP for ~£700. JonnyBoy
true. mines cost ~900 so far an equivalent spec pc from the shops would be about 1500 at the time....plus i have absolutely no generic components and it is well futureproofed too!! It was also very intereting and suprisingly easy.
Westfields Rock On
mmmmmmmmmmmm. ive checked in BIOS and increased the apeture of the AGP to 256 no change. Ive also noticed since my stupidity episode that when playing videos in full screen mode they jump. No a smooth continuing picture
