Andy - a15cro Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Have you ever considered learning a new skill or are you a budding weld-god in the making? I bought this a couple of years ago with the intention of using it on aluminium for a large order at work, however the material changed to a modular build with nuts and bolts! My plan was always to master Tig however Mig is the main use for our kind of fabrication and its a shame for this to be sitting not used. Im offering the full set up, XTT220 AC/DC Pulse tis with the additional trolley and foot pedal. This also has all of the spare tips and rods etc. The gas bottle is optional at an extra £75 as I can return it and get my deposit back, or you can take it for easy refills once empty. It's almost completely full. This machine cost me in excess of £1,700 (inc vat) I'm looking for £1,200 but will consider reasonable offers.
AdamR Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 To hopefully help the sale... I have a similar machine and while technically you are supposed to use a 32A supply, it can be run on a normal 13A plug providing you aren't using the machine right up at the top end of its power. For car stuff that works fine - 3mm aluminium might be welded around 140A and 2mm steel around 80A (machine max is 220). 2

I've sent you a PM with the number of one of my area members who's interested. Thanks, Tim
