Thanks @Glen_I.... I'm hoping to hear from my chum at LVT next week whether he can get a seals kit from his tech team, in which case I'm hoping I'll be able to fix my MC.  If not, I'll be looking for a replacement, and this (or Yorkshire_pudding's) might just fit the bill perfectly.
