TAFKARM Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 What do you do all day!? Day 1 and I’m already bored! 2 Quote
TAFKARM Posted January 4, 2021 Author Posted January 4, 2021 I could make another cup of tea I suppose. Quote
Arm Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Been finished 2 yrs today. Still super busy but had lined up some big projects. Last 3 months worked 7 days a week apart from a few days off over Christmas Quote
jim_l Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Just too cold to be doing anything with Westy, and can't go abroad, so 22 hours in the gym in December, some might say that is just another kind of boring 😀 but, headphones and some podcasts and music... 8 year retired, my weight rocketed in the first few months, keep an eye on that. I could do with an interesting 2 day a week job , bit too lazy to look. Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I've been retired almost 9 years now, and I can honestly say that other than live F1 I have not yet switched on daytime tv, I never seen to have a minute to spare, take today for instance, I went for a walk this morning. It wasn't cold at all. There was a nice view. Then I had a read and did a crossword......................................................by the pool. 1 Quote
CraigHew Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I am also coming up to 10 year retirement anniversary (May). Love it Never bored Haven't worn a watch since May 2011. I think that if you're an interesting person, with lots of hobbies and an inquisitive personality you won't have enough hours in the day. If you're not then, er, make another cup of tea. 1 Quote
TAFKARM Posted January 4, 2021 Author Posted January 4, 2021 I’m very social so it’s the “being stuck in the house” that’s the issue. I think I might find a job. Quote

corsechris Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I do the same as I did before I retired, fill my hours with pointless activity. 2 Quote
Jim RS Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Get some dogs, we have 2 bearded collies that need walking everyday - try to give them at least 5 miles but they still want more. They also need to be groomed and that's a time consuming exercise in itself. Side benefits are they are much better than any alarm/cameras/security device, great when you live in the country, however nearly impossible to transport in the Westy. Quote
