Burgerbob
Any recommendations?? After my daughter's car has had issues due to not being used over lockdown, I'm looking for a compact jump starter. But it must have enough punch to also start my 3.0 diesel motorhome. Do these small chargers loose their charge over time. Or can they just be charged up and then left for the emergency use??? I've seen this one, but does anyone have any personal recommendations, perhaps one a little cheaper, I only really need it to jump start a car, not charge laptops etc https://www.mobilesolarchargers.co.uk/shop/details/overland-plus Many thanks

Mark (smokey mow)
I’ve got a couple of these in my cars which I picked up from their stand at Stoneleigh. The first one I bought proved to be so good that I got a second when I went back the following year. starts my Impreza with ease even when the car battery is completely flat. I think you’ll need a different model for your motor motor home though. https://www.antigravitybatteries-uk.co.uk/microstart-jump-starter/microstart-sport.html
Simon Marks - North Oxfordshire AO
I've had one for some time and it has been excellent. Bought off a stand at Race Retro at Stoneleigh However, four years on it has died so I'm going to have to get another one from somewhere! Burgerbob
Thanks all I've gone for this one https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.co.uk/16000mAh-Emergency-Suitable-Vehicles-Flashlight/dp/B08BRPLP1N&ved=2ahUKEwiDmv3dxrztAhXARBUIHfsjCyIQFjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw2XZzJvpMXw7Ck1z14Ctv2U Cheaper than the first one I looked at, according to the description can start bigger engines, I'm guessing a newer design as it has usb c, plus seems well reviewed (if you find it on Amazon US and Canada sites) Let's see what it's like, just need a flat battery now! Ewan
Thanks Burgerbob - I've just copied your lead and bought that one too. So at least I've got someone to blame if it's XXXX! 😉
