corsechris Posted November 16, 2020 Share Posted November 16, 2020 I know it’s not the done thing these days, but I thought it was worth a mention of a positive event last night....another successful SpaceX launch, the Crew 1 mission that has taken 4 astronauts into orbit to dock with the ISS. I never tire of seeing the SRB's landing on the drone ship, and the double landing from the Star Man launch in 2018 was an absolutely astonishing achievement. corsechris Posted November 16, 2020 Author Share Posted November 16, 2020 Worst case, they only have to survive a relatively short period, in the capsule, with about 7psi internal pressure, and supported by the systems on the capsule. They aren't an EVA suit so can be relatively flimsy. What they are doing in Boca Chica with the Starship is proper Thunderbirds stuff, complete with Palm trees.
