Chris96
Hello, Recently purchased a 92 SE Narrow Body which has only 1007 miles most of which was spent in hill climbing as the previous owner had bought one as a kit and only used it for 2 years. Since then it has been stored and pushed around ect and the owner had died years ago and left the Westfield to his wife. I've now got it and plan to bring it up for hill climbing next year which is a new adventure for myself and to carry on the history of this once former hill climb race car. I've got some questions to ask too as there's a mystery of whats going on with the rear axle on mine as paperwork suggests its got escort and talbot ti parts. I know its got a 1.6 TI with twin webber 45s on and what i thought was possibly a escort rear axle seems to be talbot axle but with no pigs ears which i found odd as theres room for them to stay. Ill ask in technical incase others know much about this sort of arrangement. Very new thing to me as i've owned a subaru and currently a mitsubish evo 5 which is a different game to this haha. Take it theres like a build threads section? I might post an update or so about this as its a really interesting thing. Live in the north west so may see some of you in the future. I've added a few pics so you can see the car :) - Chris.

Simon Marks - North Oxfordshire AO
Hi, Chris, I've just stumbled over this thread. As your car has so much Talbot stuff on it, could I recommend Skip Brown Cars at Ridley Green (near Tarporley) for parts, experience and knowledge. I've been going there for 25years (despite the distance from me at Oxford) and they ran some of the quickest Sunbeams and Avengers in the 1970s and 1980s. The same people are still there and are so lovely to deal with. They have a rolling road and Paul will be able to set up a Ti engine better than anyone. Slip Brown Cars Ridley Green, Nr Tarporley, Cheshire CW6 9RY.
