Sean Walsh
Hi all, A bit cheeky but... I have an SEIW which has all the fitting to accept a hood. I have a hood a d frame, but neither have been fitted. So, a little winter job coming up! The hood is Virgin - no extrusion/ channel and no poppers. Woukd any kind soul have a tool for fitting the poppers to the hood that I could borrow, or a second hand tool they can sell on? Also, what specific popper fitting do I need for the hood? I’m in Minehead - Somerset. Thanks v m S
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO
I’ve got the popper fitting tools that came with my half hood. You’re welcome to borrow them. SBFS sell various popper “bits”: https://www.softbitsshop.co.uk/fittings-14-c.asp I’m just east of Bridgwater. How soon do you need the tools? Could have a run your way when lockdown finishes. Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO
This manual might help? Wouldn’t have thought it’s changed much over the years. http://www.manikllc.com/manuals/Westfield_hood_assembly.pdf
Sean Walsh
Hi, Thanks - that would be ace. No rush ad need to order up a few bits before I can start. I’ll drop you a note when we are all allowed out to play again! 😃 Thx again. W
