What's this?  And why is it required?  Up until last month, this field was not present on creating a blog entry...

Well, I've found a work-around now.  Just enter anything you like, and then on the main blog page you can maintain the blog, and then you're able to delete the category again, causing the blog post to be category-less...  just like the god-knows how many before it.

 

It's apparently a new Invision option, and you as Admin are able to add/delete categories, and I'm assuming also to turn them off.  But what do I know ;)

I’ll take a look - but will be after tomorrow’s track day (at the earliest) - got an update to do over the weekend so if not sooner...
