moer_modena Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 (edited) Hi to all the community. We're a small garage based beat Maranello (you know, Ferrari and bla bla bla). We decided to sign up for a specific reason -more sooner in this section- but wesrfield-kind cars are getting more and more appreciated here in Italy, so it's better getting some school up. Cheers! Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Buongiorno & We've got a few members in Italy e.g. @LoneWolf It's great to read popularity of Westfields is on the increase, especially in such a car focused area of Italy! What are the rules in Italy for importing Westfields? Is it like France, where they have to be over a certain age? (30 years from memory)? 1 Quote

moer_modena Posted October 27, 2020 Author Posted October 27, 2020 If one of you ever will come to maranello check out us in Montale, see directions at www.mo-er.it However, in italy we have a lot of complicated rules (in fact, build up a kit car is striclty forbidden, but import a 30yo uk car is ok). Not great for us professionals. 1 Quote

At the moment, italian regulations allow to register Westfields without CoC that are at least 20 years old. That way the car go through historic registration first, and then can be road registered. But we actually don't know what's gonna happen after brexit Welcome from south Italy @moer_modena 1 Quote
