09 oct 2020   https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-54470378  Fire at South Korea 33-level tower block brought under control after 13 hours.

"One witness said material on the outside of the building had caused the fire to spread quickly".

Looks like Grenfell (14 June 2017)?  Any lessons learned about external foam cladding? Seems this stuff is all 'round the world and it just sits there until disaster strikes. Thankfully no deaths reported.

I currently work in Fire Protection in a local fire authority and I can safely say that there are lots of changes underway within the UK that will potentially make high rise buildings much safer. As you can imagine, the gears that drive this change move really slowly as per most things government related! Regulation changes such as the ones currently underway take a long while to go through consultation, rewrites, public scrutiny etc, but there is change coming.
