thanks for the wishes,  my sciatica set itself off and left me unable to walk or bend.

 

although i will say now that no rules were broken and the lifting of heavy weights did not happen, although a video emerged this morning showing the carrying of said heavy weight and joking about it, this will be investigated...😛

Now that takes me right back to about 1980.  I was sitting in a queue at a road junction in Yorkshire in my Mini Marcos and it became obvious that the car behind me wasn't going to stop.  He didn't - but fortunately he went flying past me and the rest of the queue on the grass verge.  He got out and came back to apologise,  "Sorry, mate, I were listening to t' Flying Pickets, he said.......

i think it was 1983 but i would have to check, i couldn't drive a car back then and just had a moped🛵. but i do recall singing along in the chamber of horrors wiring up some new waxwork attractions, it had been a hit for yazoo already but the pickets version was pretty good.
