Seems to do the job. Setup was a doddle too and its portable if needed.
GaryD1971
I have the BT hub 6 along with 3 WiFi discs, providing a WiFi mesh, dotted around the house, one of which is in the "outbuilding" designated as the kids playroom. The playroom based xbox is currently getting speeds around 130 Mbps which is more than enough to run every game they play faultlessly. We have signed up to the BT superfast fibre and currently get around 150 Mbps at the router/ap. We have a moderate sized family house with solid walls, 2 storeys and no WiFi dead spots. Considering we live out of town on a country lane, I'm really quite pleased with the Internet service BT have been able to provide, but it comes at a cost. ci_newman
I've had some success in using the Tenda Nova MW3 / MW5 wifi mesh system in my house - Clicky It's no good for large file transfers (e.g. trying to move files around to my NAS) but for mobile devices, STB (e.g. Sky Q-mini), IP cameras, internet browsing etc it's been perfect. The main pack comes with three nodes but you can buy single packs to extend it for bigger homes.
