The 2017 and 2018 TDF champs both omitted from Ineos team to ride this year's TDF with reigning champ 23 year old Egan Bernal chosen along with 2019 Giro d'Italia victor Richard Carapaz.

 

Froome and Thomas struggled in the just completed Critérium du Dauphiné. Bernal left the race early with a back strain, hopefully minor.

 

After the 2019 TDF had stages shortened after severe weather ,hail, snow and landslides (in July) I wonder what the September weather will be like at the Tour?
