As well as Boris there will be puppets of the prime minister's senior adviser Dominic Cummings, Prince Andrew, US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

How could anybody be pro Trump? Both his actions and in-actions have done a great dis-service to the people of the USA and to my mind he has brought the Office of the President of the United States into disrepute.

He's not president material at all, not even in the slightest, but most of what we think we know about him, came from the same idiots who were scaremongering about Brexit...... He was also the lesser of two evils in my opinion, as the Clinton foundation has fingers in some very dodgy pies. whilst he is a one man show.

At one point I believed all the stuff about illegal migrants, I was horrified until I looked at the figures and found he's actually deported less than Obama did. It's hard to know what to think when the media blatantly lies so much...... It seems to be the same as in the UK with Brexit, using social class and group identity to influence peoples opinions, "don't vote Brexit, that will make you racist and lower class". I don't much care about the US or Trump, but I do hate being told what to think, it makes me more determined to not simply fall into line, i'd rather sit on the fence!

Once you can no longer trust the UKs biggest broadcaster to report the truth, you can't really trust any of them...... The BBCs "mostly peaceful" protests, where 37 Police officers are injured, our "right wing racist" war veterans who peacefully surrounded our war memorials, which the "peaceful protesters" tried to set fire to a week earlier, the "nazi salutes" that were nothing of the sort, not mention using the death of George Floyd to stir up racial tensions across the UK. They just can't be trusted to give us an unbiased view, not about the UK, not about the US, and not about anywhere else.

No. I subscribe to his Twitter feed and occasionally watch his press conferences and then make my own mind up. You should know by now that I try to be independent of thought.

He's not a one man show. He has advisors. But unlike many who seek high office in the USA I believe he is largely self funded so he doesn't have to pander to contributors. In this case having to pander to contributors instead of people from his own circle might not have been such a bad thing.

The issue is exactly what I said though. His advisers advise. But it looks to me like he does not always heed that advice and chooses to go his own way, usually to the detriment of the people. This is the very essence of a dictator.

Lesser of two evils is hardly a selling point for casting a vote. BUT that is what happened and the American people managed to elect a non politician to their highest political office. There is no other job outside of politics where an unqualified person is promoted to the highest office. It's bonkers, both here and in the USA.

 

As for the lefty bias of the media, that's hardly new or news. We all should know not to trust them by now.

I can't stand twitter, it's the cesspit of the internet.
I know Trump has claimed (on twitter) that the Beirut explosion was caused by a bomb, I know the media are claiming he's nuts, but also I know someone who has dealings with ammonium nitrate storage facilities and he reckons it'd be very difficult to get an explosion from it without a substantial heat source being applied. Of course now that Trump has made this speculation, if it turns out to be true, the media will simply not report it......
