TAFKARM
My Cheap trailer straps are Knackered, what do people recommend? Ideally I’d like something slim line as there isn’t much width on the trailer with Lionel loaded.
TAFKARM
They have a selection of 25mm, 38mm and 50mm straps in Aldi at the moment. I've picked up some 38mm and will see how we go...
AdamR
Would go for 50mm.

Defo 50mm, they have extra width to allow for any wear and also you can safely lift engines etc. with them. The vehicle transport set I have are 50mm which are good at resisting folding. Always used these for securing small tool and plant with no issues (over 30 years), smaller widths just wore out too quick.
Mole
How much? I nearly bought the ones in Waitrose the other day but they were quite expensive!
TAFKARM
They weren’t just ta get straps though, they were Waitrose ratchet straps! £10 for 4*25mm, 2*38mm or 1*50mm
