Greenstreak-Andy D
I came into the last 5 min of the series being shown on Quest, ‘Vintage Voltage’. They televised the electrification of a Chesil Speedster. Captain Colonial
Good to see Frank again. Very interesting technology behind it all. I love the vintage-style electric “fuel pump” in the show. Good bit of publicity for Westfield as this is the sort of show that gets repeated a lot. The series also did an old Fiat 500 that was a very good fit for hat sort of conversion, very nippy city car. 1960dave
What I didn't know Westfield have a electric 7. The green on in the workshop has been converted. I did a car check on it and it came back as electric

I did a car check on it and it came back as electric there’s been a fair few over the years both factory and private builds. the first I recall was around the early 1990’s was the martin Ogilvie WiSPER (Westfield in Structural Plastics Electric Roadster) who was the designer of the FW400, this much like the FW400 featured a composite chassis. Around 2010 was the iracer which was developed for the now defunct EVcup electric race series. Unusually this had a stretched Lycra body. not long after that was the Warwick university hybrid. This ran the hill at Goodwood and was fitted with a conventional petrol engine driving the rear wheels and an electric hybrid system running through the front. And probably the most well known private builds in the last few years is the the Westfield MegaWatt. I’m sure I’ve missed a few others.
