Hello,
Sorry for similar thread but my question is .

Do I need to have the strap available in the car or will the tow vehicle have one?

 I assume that I can use the half cage as tow point for minimum damage?

You need a point for them to attach the strap to. The marshalls will have the straps. And a half cage should be fine.
