Matt_S Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Hi all, Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a Junior Timer crimping tool I could borrow. I only have two connectors to crimp and spending £55 on a new tool seems a bit excessive. TIA Matt
GaryD1971 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Hi Matt. I had the same issue as yourself and just used a pair of side cutters very carefully. Works really well to be honest. Not ideal, but better than spending a fortune on something you will only use once. Might help if no one has a set to lend out. Gary. 1
Matt_S Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 Hi Gary, Thanks for the advice, I will give it a try if I can’t get hold of a pair 👍🏼 1
Nick Lester Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Hi Matt, If you haven't done it already get yourself a set of these: https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/non-insulated-terminal-crimping-tool-standard-duty.html Am using these to do all the connectors on my car, work really well and very reasonable at £12 1
Matt_S Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 Thanks for that Nick, at that price they are well worth a try 👍🏼
