SORTED Trilogy / Savage / APEM Hazard switch wanted please

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks.

In the continuing saga of getting road ready this year I've discovered my hazard lights no longer work. Everything else works and all fuses are intact, indicators work when hazard switch on (but when off) but hazards don't work at all under any circumstance. It is the switch that has had it so looking for a replacement.

Please let me know if you have one, ta muchly.

Here's the fella: https://uk.farnell.com/apem/a0152b/contact-block-dpdt-tht/dp/1082354?st=apem contact block AD152B

Note this part is just the contact block. You should be able to confirm the actuator button is alive and well.

Make sure you well label each wire before swapping over etc.

One at a time, I'd suggest.

Have you swapped your CV joint gaters yet?

Thanks Ian. Well worth getting a couple of those in stock, good find.

Tolf has one, or at least the A0152B bit. Also, I noticed my Fog was the same switch so I transferred the wires to the fog and it all works so defo the hazard switch itself. I may see if the hazard has enough working poles to drive the fog and then swap the facias.

No joy with the CV boots I'm afraid, tried impact wrench, impact driver, Irwins, everything bar heat and a windy - it's off the the garage when I get it back together.

You should be able to swap the fog face over to the suspect Hazard contact block and confirm it's the contact block.

We can't have that! surely the 'Westield South East collective' can find a way to safely fix the Chairman's chariot! @Ian Tolfree (tolf) - WSCC AO Rep can you find anyone suitable skilled and able to help covid 19 safely?

The CV joint bolts are just not shifting with the tools I have sadly; manage to shear off a Trok head in one. I'm content/resigned to getting it booked in with the garage.

Swapping the switches over worked, there is one dodgy pole on the (old) hazard switch; fog only needs the one, obvs. I'll grab a spare from @Ian Tolfree (tolf) - WSCC AO Rep for which many thanks.

MOT now due in November, however everything bar the CV boots and a possible Gearbox to prop-shaft oil seal leak, are sorted ta.
