RickRack
Hi all, have just joined the WSSC after having been a Westfield fan for 30 plus years, I’m close to owning my first. I fell in love with the original Seven when I entered a competition to win one back in 1985ish which was a treasure hunt to find a final item and destination. That culminated in a visit to The British Transport Museum in Coventry and to find a Westfield Steering Wheel. I think I got the answer correct (time plays tricks on the memory) but alias I didn’t win a new Seven Kit. Several jobs, houses, mortgages & children stopped my desire becoming a reality - but - its getting closer. So I’m looking for a bit of information on a specific car and hope this will be the best forum to find out. As I guess most Westies (apologises if my etiquette is poor) are known to the club. And therefore wondered if anyone has any previous knowledge on a specific car I’m viewing (social distancing and PPE to be maintained) on Friday. The car is a dark blue Seight under reg plate Q871TYE Was looking for any info on history, build and/or knowledge of any previous issues. Any info would be welcomed & thanks in advance. Best regards RickRack Wolves

Gary Taylor
Hi Rickrack and welcome from sunny Scotland, as with a lot of us, we have had a “ journey and story” to get to ownership. Hope all goes well on Friday and remember pictures are compulsory Once your sorted
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
Welcome from South Derbyshire! I also (like many) had a similarly long journey to owning my first Westfield in 2019... I'm now totally hooked and on my second one! 😂 Good luck for Friday, look forward to the pics!
