Hi all,

Can anyone give me an idea of how a seiw 2007 1.8 is taxed?

What band does it fall into and are there any special provisions etc that apply?

What’s the annual cost.

Thanks for your help!

Westfields are taxed purely on engine size, currently for you, would be £270 a year, unless paid by monthly DD, in which case it works out at £283.50 a year.

There's no banding as such, but the engine size breakpoint is 1549cc, so below that is £165 pa.

Hi,

Thanks that’s really helpful.

Just getting my ducks in a row to get my first Westfield - so all advice is greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

No worries!

Don't be afraid to ask away!

Normally I'd be recommending to get along to any nearby meets, too, where you can see and the cars and get a chance to chat to other owners and have a closer look. (Pax rides usually available too), all helps when it comes to looking at and evaluating actual cars for sale.

Obviously at the moment, physical meets are still suspended, but don't be shy, many areas are having virtual meets for a chat and "tyre kick"; don't be afraid to join in any of them, you'll be most welcome, and it gives a chance to ask questions, at least!
