John rusher Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Hi guys During this lockdown period with time on my hands I've desided to tidy up the inside of my se narrow body Westfield. It's currently trim out with vinyl on the tunnel and side panels and rubber on the floor but I'm finding the vinyl not very hard wearing at all. I have race seats and carbon dash. What have you guys done other than carpet or vinyl ?? Has anyone just painted the inner panels in satin black? Pictures would be good. Many thanks John Quote

Many thanks John I painted the inner panels satin black....they got super scratched and looked awful in no time so I ended up stripping it all off! Quote
Tim Reid Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 I painted my tunnel sides and rear bulkhead black with a rattle can in my garage at home. Been fine for about 6 years. I'm a big fan of carbon but would worry about scratches. With the paint I can touch it up if needed. Quote
Gary Taylor Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Not the best picture in the world but can get more detailed ones today if you want. But I used the interior panels from carbon nv and chassis rail covers from mickmade, looks good and believe me they get a rough life as we often have every nook and cranny loaded up when holiday touring, just waiting for my first batch for the second westy aswell Quote

I’m the same, if I spent a fortune on carbon I would worry about scratching it. I guess you used etching primer ? 6 year is a good test👍 Quote
