Popular Post Glen_I Posted April 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2020 Hi all, So after parking the Westy in the garage in 2007 (and my old membership expiring) and then starting house renovation which turned into extension and then daughter is born and then 2nd extension followed by 2nd daughter and then loft conversion I am finally done (or broken!), so it's time to blow the cobwebs off the old neglected girl, strip it down and repowder coat and then rebuild it to what I always wanted first time around! Full cage, throttle bodies, widetrack some carbon maybe....... Unfortunately due to the lockdown it has come to a grinding halt again....😂 Here we go........ All the best all Glen 11 Quote
Gary Taylor Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Welcome back and good luck with the rebuild Quote
TAFKARM Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 What I’d like to know, is how did you get it up on those stands?! 1 Quote
Glen_I Posted April 29, 2020 Author Posted April 29, 2020 Thanks all... Regarding the trestles....I had removed the engine already and that was mounted on its stand, so I used the engine crane.....the bottom was twitching for a few seconds. Having a audience (my 2 daughters) never helps with comments like 'Dad, wont that fall off, and yes that would be funny (the youngest!). Anyway it's still sat there. On a positive note, getting it down will be easy as I will have gravity on my side!!! 1 Quote
Steven Thorne Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Welcome back and hopefully we'll see you at the Thames Valley meets when lockdown's over. Quote
6carjon Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Is the TV for your failing eyesight and projecting wiring diagrams from.manuals or watching YouTube in winding down moments😀 Good luck Quote

Love the daughter comments - I have one that adds special quotes regularly or tries to be helpful by passing me random tools or parts...but she also likes to say whilst out for a blatt "Faster daddy, faster..." so she is excused! 2 Quote
