Just been to fill wifes car, £0.96 per litre.

 

Next time we need fuel prices to drop, just get the world to stop using it for a month or so....

Yep! It's bl**** annoying to drive past the local Esso station in the wife's Nissan Leaf and see the margin of advantage being eroded all the time! 😜

  • Yep, Bernie, I have three mowers (I never throw anything away!), a rotovator (Flymo of 1970s vintage), two twenty litre Jerry cans, and three or four spare-gallon cans. Hedges against inflation! (Sounds like a protest group)

I changed to electric heating last year as was major saving over kerosene - not now and I've got 400 litres of left over fuel that I'm going to have to pay someone to remove🙃

Had to go to a client site to install some new hardware on Wednesday. Took the opportunity to fill up the Focus with diseasel at 1.02 a litre...
