b16gnr
After a few years of ownership I have finally got round to fitting a 12v power outlet and hire wiring my eeeeemmm ‘safe device’ as I have wired it directly to the battery I have wired in a led switch to prevent leaving things turn on, I’m pretty pleased with the results in my homemade centre console! I just have to pluck up the courage to attempt to wire the start button next!!!
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
Hi Wayne, this may help: You don't need to do all of it if you just want to add the start button for example.

CosKev
I've removed my cigarette lighter type power outlet over the winter and fitted a twin USB one instead,as majority of things you need to charge now dont have cigarette lighter type plugs on them!🤷♂️

Although I can always change it at a later date
