SteveB21
Hi all I've recently re-joined the WSCC as I'm looking to get back into building & owning a Westfield. Still mulling options and stalking forums, with a plan to visit the factory once this lockdown is all over. I previously owned Q399 VOE - a yellow 1700 x-flow 7SE, purchased from its builder back in 1989. It was great fun but I had to sell it when the family came along in the late 90s. I see it is now on a SORN and was last MOT'd in 2016, so I wonder if it belongs to anyone on here? Gary Taylor
Welcome back Steve, once it’s in the blood it’s hard to shake off, are you planning a new build or a ready built ?
SteveB21
Hi Gary - planning a new build this time. Will be for road use, so nothing too OTT engine wise. Cheers Steve
SteveB21
Now I’ve got my FW on the road I thought I’d give this a bump and see if anyone knows the car, 2 years on from my first posting!
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Two years on and no change to it's sorn status, it was a 1988 car; the vast majority of those end up in France or other European countries, as it's just under (by a year or two) the cut off point for being able to import as, I guess, a historic vehicle? SteveB21
Thought I would update title and see if anyone new knows of this car - I see it is still SORN, MoT expired 2016 and no export marker. Cheers Steve
