DonPeffers
"New UK car registrations plunge by more than 40%" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52176669 "In total, 254,684 new cars were registered in March according to the SMMT, a fall of 203,370 compared with March 2019." "The SMMT said it now expected car sales of 1.73 million in 2020, 25% lower than last year." It might mean some bargains available when lockdown ends. What about expensive cars on PCP deals? Is the guaranteed future value written in stone or can it be overruled by a force majeure clause in the contract?

DonPeffers
I would have thought new 20 reg cars would have been ordered about 3 months ago (or earlier for some models) so before covid and shutdown.
Man On The Clapham Omnibus
I don't routinely look for them but I did spot one leaving Wycombe Hospital car park about ten days ago. Didn't notice what it was but it must have been fairly 'ordinary' or I would have remembered.

Nissan shutdown on 17th March as the EU was in lock down.. So we were one of the last. Nowt out after that... I sign them out.. 👍 If there's a 10 week wait you might of been lucky.. Just before we shut we were running the line flat out, 2 lines each line x1 car a minute out the door.. Sad in a way... £400 million has just been invested in the new QQ.. wonder when we're going back and IF it'll be building cars and for how long before parts run out
