Fuel injection ECU. OMEX/ME221/Alpha

Omex 600/ME221/Alpha etc etc and pref a zetec loom. I guess its a big ask for  wanted ad but I have GSXR throttle bodies and high pressure fuel pump and swirl pot and a regulator so just need an ECU to run it all.

understand these are hard to come by second hand, but no harm in asking.

Best option to date I've had is an ME221 with plug and play loom from manufacture direct at £800.

Thanks

Pete

I have similar set up on my 2.0 Zetec with Omex 600. Omex were really good in helping me develop my software to enable it to run. While online in my garage they sent me a programme and the walked me through the settings to get a base set up. We found out that my ebay lambda probe was not working well and that the TPS return rate was to slow on the standard GSXR return spring along with several other settings that needed adjustment. Used their loom which has the wrong connectors for the injectors but DanST has the correct ones. Just info should you need to choose a new product.

Omex currently closed due virus, left them a message. Thanks for the info.

Try Troy at NMS, he did me a good deal on Omex ecu 600 plus all new sensors and TPS. Ask for wscc discount, had excellent service and he may even help to get the map setup remotely too. Worth a shout

If you're on a budget, I wouldn't rule out Megasquirt.

from the UK version of the website up to £545 new for the right V3 ECU and an Omex 600 new is £666.

I thought megasquirt initially also but any research I've done shows them being quite expensive.

Fair enough, don't forget to factor in the cost of mapping too :)

From when I was looking the v3 is a more capable ecu than an omex 600. All depends what you want from it feature wise. To get what I wanted the emerald k6 came out on top for capability vs cost vs what my local mapper preferred.

To get the same features I'd have had to go to omex 710 at 1k+.

And that's the big one for me, the MS will be coming out at some point and a DTA going in.
