Toaster repair

I've had mine for 30 years and have replaced three elements in that time.

 

To get at the elements on mine there are just four screws holding a plate on the bottom. Once thsat's off, you can see the workings.

 

Whatever, it's a timeless piece of kit that doesn't owe me a penny!

Na-na-nan. For what they cost, I'd be buying a new one. 

However you slice it, messing about with these cheap electrical goods just isn't worth the risk. If you get it wrong, it's a real pita, at best constantly blowing fuses, and at worst, chabatta watch out you don't electrocute yourself.

Listen flour, take what I say with a pinch of salt as I’m not trying to egg you on but I’m struggling to crowbar the word yeast into this to get a rise out of you all!
