To get at the elements on mine there are just four screws holding a plate on the bottom. Once thsat's off, you can see the workings. Whatever, it's a timeless piece of kit that doesn't owe me a penny! Quote

However you slice it, messing about with these cheap electrical goods just isn't worth the risk. If you get it wrong, it's a real pita, at best constantly blowing fuses, and at worst, chabatta watch out you don't electrocute yourself. Quote
