Greenstreak-Andy D Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Agree! Much clapping and cheering heard up and down our street. Quote
Simon Marks. Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Probably only about a quarter of the households in our village took part - but great to be part of nonetheless. Simon 1 Quote
tex Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 My wife is currently reorganising her wing of North tees hospital to cope with the influx about to hit her. Shifts have gone to 12hr. A&E being moved to other non critical areas still with same cover tho. But now it keeps segregation better. Even things like screens are going up on receptions... I've hardly seen her since it started. She's just washed out. And with her granddaughter still being on the hold button for her heart operation due to people using critical care etc... So maybe you can see why I'm passionate about people not flouting segregation rules... Others are paying for their selfishness 2 Quote

Terry Everall Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Nearly the whole of my village took part and it was brilliant to thank all health staff Quote

Jim RS Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Is this on again for tonight? We were going to do it anyway as think it only way to show our appreciation, my wife cares for her 101 year old mother so realise the extreme importance of the "social isolation/distancing". Fortunately we are retired and easily accommodated staying at home advice but even we are getting/sharing shopping with others especially the sheltered flats where she lives. Quote
