Alfascozzesi Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Looks great! So much better than my day 🙁 Love the carbon lamps with their shine. You used to have R1R tyres. What are you running with now? Quote
Gary Taylor Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Yes it was a great day and really needed given events of late, and those carbon headlights are really lovely when your looking ahead and you glimpse them 😁 tyres are khumo ecsta , I had the r1r’s but as we use the westy all year I didn’t have any confidence in deep standing water, so went back to what I was happy with, the khumos are what I ran on the supercharged Haynes with >200hp and a traditional tread pattern, I know it’s a compromise but I’m happy with them , oh and I had traction in the snow lol Quote
Alfascozzesi Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Should get my car back next week and I will give you a shout if the weather is anything like it was today. You need to let me know how you get on with the tyres as I still have the TR1 ditch finders on and am struggling to make a decision on their replacements and have the same worries as you do with driving in weather which could be classified as compromised by our wet weather 🤨 1 Quote
Gary Taylor Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Yes give me a shout and we’ll get out somewhere I’m away south weekend of 27/29 March Quote

IainCameron Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Driving your Westy in the snow... Gutsy move, Maverick. That looks like a fantastic day out; inspiration to get my finger out and have a weekend in my shed, now that my M4 washers have arrived. 1 Quote
