Thankfully I've a Brian James dealer about 3 miles from me so he serviced it

Not much to service on a trailer really, easy to diy.

Check breakaway cable is not damaged.
Grease tow hitch nipples.

lube brake cable and rod linkages

check lights.  Even better, change over to LED lighting, normal filament bulbs are always blowing due to vibration.

check and adjust wheel bearing wear.

check and adjust brakes

check tyres including spare  pressures everytime you use it. They tend to loose pressure more when standing idle for weeks ata time. 
As above old hard tyres are not safe and are easily punctured.

check ramps, securing clips and stays for operation.

check welds on the whole frame for cracking.

Quite a list to check but all easy to do.
