kirkyboy5 Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Hi all. Recently purchased a megabusa. Want to give it a good full service and gearbox service before I take it on track this year. 1. Where would you recommend in the midlands to take it ? 2. Anything else to check whilst it’s in? Thanks. Dan Quote
AndrewBClarke Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 A P Racing Engines. Absolutely brilliant. Rolling road etc. Only does the necessary work and will not charge for unnecessary stuff. Quote
kirkyboy5 Posted February 9, 2020 Author Posted February 9, 2020 Looking for something a bit closer to home to be honest. Also someone that specialises in Suzukis. Dan Quote

TAFKARM Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 I doubt AP would be interested anyway (with respect!) he’s an engine builder and tuner rather than a mechanic and always flat out. Someone like Pro Comp in Birmingham might be a good shout. Quote
Tony Smiley Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 You'll have to have the engine out to "service" the gearbox... 1 Quote

Steve (sdh2903) Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Nowt to a general service on a bec, not fancy a crack yourself? Just oil, filter and maybe a set of plugs. Unless it’s not running well and needs other work? Would only take an hour tops. Am sure there are busa gurus on here who can sort you a recommended parts list. Quote

BenD Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Not sure if he does or not but you could try Ben at BHPerformance in Kingswinford. It's not far from the westfield factory. Quote
aeg Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Another 👍 for Ben at bhperformance, he worked somewhere else on race cars before he set up on his own. Quote
