Hammonds new Morgan

Just watched a short video of RH picking up his new Morgan from the factory.  I was quite impressed by the performance figures he quoted, it also sounds quite nice.

 

Then I googled the price......The Plus Six range starts at £78,000   (STARTS AT)      Jesus Wept.....

I saw another review of one of these and as it was tested it was going on for £100k, which is madness to me but if you have the cash and want a car built exactly how you want it, who are we to say if it is worth it?

Driven one... A proper rocketship.   I drove one of these back to back against an Evora.    The turbocharged BMW  engine has so much torque and even if it’s not the quickest car I’ve driven it certainly felt like it...  It is both modern yet has the Morgan feel.      There are cheaper Morgan’s if the speed six is a little too pricey

A couple of years ago my wife bought me a Morgan factory visit for my Birthday. It is a really great day out as seeing the technology and the traditional craftsmanship that goes into them was really interesting. Not expensive and well worth it

Me too, Son and I had great day there, very interesting and now totally get what Morgan and Morgan ownership is about.

Loverly cars, wouldnt mind one at all. Not sure about the gloss black, satin grey combo, but specing one is not a problem I will face for a while.
