scott beeland Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Richard/ Philip. I meant on the day I was usually in same running batch as slick boys. Points for modified (f) class in ss; but on the day class positions mixed with slick boys (and girl) Quote
adhawkins Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Hi Scott. Mind if I ask how much you're paying for your hosting? Andy Quote
Blatman Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Bros.... Fair comment, but I'd have expected the "experienced" front runners to have ditched the un-necessary 10Kg's long ago, especially as is seems to make little difference to the "on the day" class issues, which the experienced runners will have already come up against....... RICHARD+PHILIP Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 So to finish up the thread! Anybody who has removed their reverse gear can run in the speed series in the BEC classes BUT On the day they MUST run in the Sports Libre Class PS On a side note those now running in sports libre may need to take a good look at the blue book to ensure they are eligable for that class (I'm thinking plumbed in fire systems etc.) Quote
moomin Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 On a side note those now running in sports libre may need to take a good look at the blue book to ensure they are eligable for that class (I'm thinking plumbed in fire systems etc.) a valid point, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. it does seem a bit odd that a roadgoing car must have a reverse, when you can comfortably be a legal road car without... I can understand having to have reverse for circuit racing, but for speed events it doesn't make a great deal of difference in terms of safety (which is why you have to have one for racing). moomin Quote
