Many actually find the seat belt covers handy for reducing "chatter" from the fixtures, and for helping stop the metal shackles marking the seats.

With 3" wide 4 point harness and a big fat driver it doesn't seem to be a problem😁

Hi all, thanks for the advice, I have the number plate tea tray but no seat belt hook covers, does anyone know where I can buy them from?

I just made them by sewing some leather cloth into a tube to fit around the seat belt clip, if you're going to take them off after the IVA then they don't have to be too pretty. Just so they cover all the right angle hard edges, eye is ok as rounded, inspector may want to see that eyes are 8.8 marked although mine weren't but showed the manufacturers documentation(Luke) which he was happy with.

. The build level is great as it was from a well respected owner who has built a few kits.

That Dale's latest build, I've seen it at a few staged and I'm sure you won't have any issues with the quality of the work done so far. He's a perfectionist and does great things many others don't to create a great build.

You were very lucky to buy it!

Hi Tim,

You are right, it’s a great build and really look forward to finishing the car and it was great to meet and chat with Dale.

Look just like the ones I made, not🤣. Using 3" straps so would not fit, also had loads of cloth left over.
