Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 @TrashPanda13 Whereabouts in the UK are you? I'd suggest getting along to your local WSCC Meet and you'll be able to look at different cars, and even ride in them. This will give you a better idea of what to buy etc. Note given the time of year, there won't be any/many cars out at some meets, but I've used my aeroscreen heaterless car, every month for the last 4 years, since building! I've also been on 3 great Eurotrips so far. The lastest one is written up here: 2 Quote

SootySport Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 from down south. You don’t need a cage for normal road driving and I doubt the Mrs would like climbing over the bars to get in and out. Happy hunting for your Westfield, go to some club meets and you’ll find out what a good car should look like. Quote
Jude - The Mad Widow Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Welcome to the club from Buckinghamshire. Look forward to seeing you at Stoneleigh beginning of May. Jude Quote

I'm sure they'll be pleased to see you. We had the Cheshire / North Staffs Meet last night. The next one is , 6th Feb here: 5 Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Possibly not far from me either (depending which bit of Staffs), I'm over near Burton on Trent. If you are in my neck of the woods, you're welcome to take a look at mine (so to speak 😂) and have a chat. I've only been an owner for 4 months so know how daunting it can be. As @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOsays, the Peak District crew are always out, you would be welcome to come and meet up and have a look at the cars... I'm a newbie and have been made to feel really welcome. Oh, and there's normally cake involved somewhere too! 👍 3 Quote
