Type 9 Gear lever extension

Anyone have a gear shift extension that is surplus to requirments. For type 9 box

I maybe wrong, but a 2l Zetec (assumed from your car details) mated to a type 9 should only need a cranked gear lever. I found the gear lever extension on my Duratec would have put the gear lever too far rearwards, so much so that the extension would hit the chassis within the tunnel.

The extension puts it in the perfect place on mine.

Yep  agreed, a 2l zetec was too far back with  the extension. I recall it fouled a chassis cross member.  

Measure it first before you buy one.

 

I shortened  and bent a type 9 gearstick.  It Works great
