NickBW Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Hi all I have a failed bulb for a car which has failed It's a 12v led bulb but I don't know the fitting. Is anyone able since I am struggling with finding a match Thanks Nick Quote
CraigHew Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Looks like a single contact (the point on the bottom) cluster bulb. Make sure the pins (on the side of the base) match yours, you can get offset pairs, parallel pairs and singles Your photo just shows one ? Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Might also help to know what it came out of. Whilst it's , (obviously) an led lamp, it looks like an led replacement for a regular tungsten lamp, so should have a standard type/part number available. It might just be a case of working backwards from what the original lamp was, to find out what the generic led replacement is. As always, the more info the better! Quote
pistonbroke Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Looks like one of these https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/703/category/119 Quote

One opposite the other. Quote

It came from one of the headlights. Electrics are from genuine car parts which is why I thought it should be an easy match. Quote

corsechris Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 At least you won't have to worry about it being CAN bus compliant Actually, try to make sure it doesn't include a ballast/load resistor if you can, it would waste power for no benefit. 1 Quote

Thanks for the help all There’s a white bulb on pistonbrokes link further down the page. Measure the old bulb and compare. Quote
