cast iron Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 You could get the Yokohama in medium compound CE marked which makes it a 1b tyre Quote
Richard Houlgate Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 It's time I replaced the 2013 Toyo Proxes R888 on my Westfield Seiw 2.3 Duratec Sizes are front 185/60 R13, rear 205/60 R13. It seems there are three options Extreme, cost front £106, rear £124 so total for a set £460 Toyo R888R total cost £400 Nankang AR1 Total cost £386 Reading the above the Nankang would seem to be the one to go for, but I've been happy with the existing Toyos and reviews say they have better wet road grip. Any thoughts please? Quote
Kingster Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Try eBay search for seller:paultwin82 Got 4x r888r 205/60x13 for £360 delivered. so you’ll get the 185’s for less. Make sure you “make an offer” to get best price. Quote
Richard Houlgate Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 The Avon ZZS are not available in the exact sizes I have now. I know little enough about what makes the car handle so don't want to alter things. Chris, are you suggesting the Toyos are better than the Nankangs? Quote
Kingster Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Just now, Richard Houlgate said: Chris, are you suggesting the Toyos are better than the Nankangs? I don’t have the experience to comment. But I was suggesting that you could get the r888r in the required sizes for a good deal less than £400 😁 Quote
Richard Houlgate Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Kind of you Chris and good to know. The difference makes many beers! Quote
