Hawkemotorsport Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 While I also think the price hike in the license fee is steep, I can see kind of what they are doing, for new people entering motorsport, the majority now do not have to have a medical which can save a bit of money. I think my medical was £120 in addition to the MSA Starter kit you had to buy which I think was £90. I dunno, I am pro and against on this... Quote
mark.anson Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 The majority don’t need a medical to compete in sprints and hillclimbs anyway unlike circuit racing, so the vast majority don’t benefit from this at all. MSUK don’t seem to think that Sprinting and hill climbing is grassroots motorsport. I would disagree. Whilst there are some wealthy people spending a lot of money they are by and large in the minority. The majority of us run on a very limited budget and sprinting is where I would think most people start in competitive Motorsport 2 Quote
